De Death In Paradise à Doctor Who saison 8

Après Keeley Hawes, c'est au tour de Ben Miller (Death In Paradise, Primeval, The Worst Week of My Life) d'incarner un ennemi du nouveau Docteur (Peter Capaldi) dans la saison 8 de Doctor Who.

Aucun détail n'a été dévoilé sur ce personnage si ce n'est qu'il s'agit d'un "storming villain". L'épisode en question sera écrit par Mark Gatiss.

Steven Moffat a déclaré à ce sujet :

“With Capaldi in the TARDIS, we knew we needed somebody special to send everybody behind the sofa. And quite frankly, it's about time Ben Miller was in Doctor Who.”

Ben Miller, un fan de Doctor Who, n'a pas caché sa joie :

“As a committed Whovian I cannot believe my luck in joining the Twelfth Doctor for one of his inaugural adventures. My only worry is that they will make me leave the set when I'm not filming.”
