Riverdale is an American television series based on the characters of Archie Comics. The thirteen-episode first season premiered on January 26, 2017 and was renewed by The CW for a second season which aired in October 2017. The cast includes KJ Apa in the role of Archie Andrews; Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, the series' narrator.
