Steven Moffat quitte Doctor Who

Steven Moffat, le showrunner qui a introduit les 11ème et 12ème Doctor (Matt Smith et Peter Capaldi) ainsi que Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) et Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) a annoncé qu'il quitterait la série après la 10ème saisons.

Ce départ assez inattendu sera compensé par l'arrivée de Chris Chibnall, un des scénaristes de Broadchurch et un grand fan de Doctor Who.

La 10ème saison sera diffusée à partir du printemps 2017 et fera l'objet d'un grand final pour Steven Moffat. Ce denier travaillait sur Doctor Who depuis la saison 5.
